Guild Structure

GUILD LEADER: Headboss (Contact me: CLICK HERE)

OFFICERS: Subucnimorning, Slafani, Breaknek, Joraca,& Deadbroke

It is generally best to PM or contact them in-game.

RAID TIMES

Crimson Tempest is an EST-based guild. Regular raid times* are as follows:
PST 4:30pm - 9:00pm | CST 6:30pm - 11:00pm | EST 730pm - 12:00am | CET 1:30am - 6:00am
(* raid times may vary depending on what events are up/server downtime/etc)
This schedule is from Sunday to Friday. Saturday is our official non-raid day. This is mainly in affect during the new expansion. Most statutory holidays are non-raid days.

NOTE: Being on-time is highly emphasized. Being 15 minutes early is preferred. This will allow us to clear the zone earlier if needed and get a guild banner planted. Get in the raid, be at the raid spot, and be ready to kick ass. Make the lives of raid leaders, DKP admins, and buffers easier.
Expansions

All applicants are required to have access to ALL EXPANSIONS. Members are expected to purchase new expansions in a timely manner.

Alternate Advancement

Character Profiles

All applicants and members are required to maintain a character profile at Magelo. Please make sure that your profile is up to date and accurately represents your in-game character. Include the profile link in your application.

Alternate Characters

If you are invited into Crimson Tempest, you are expected to raid with your main character at all times. You may, at your leisure, play alternate characters outside raid times, but your main character should always be your primary focus for advancement.

Loot Distribution

Crimson Tempest uses a custom point-based auction system for loot distribution. Players earn points for kills and/or attendance and may spend these points on items to improve their character. Raid attendance and loot distribution is tracked on an online application. During the recruiting period, recruits earn points equal to guild members but may not spend them until they reach a new member status. We also offer free twink loot to your alternative characters you may play.

Server Transfers

We will consider geared server transfers as recruits. However, please remember that transferring does not guarantee you a spot as a recruit or guild member. If your primary reason to transfer to Maelin (Drinal) is to apply to Crimson Tempest, please talk to an officer about your chances before you put in your transfer request.

Miscellaneous

-If you are accepted as a recruit you will have to drop any previous guild tag before you begin your recruitment period.
-We are a mature and professional guild, we treat all members with respect and equality.

How to apply

-You must be level 90 to apply. .
-If you do apply to Crimson Tempest, try to make an effort to group with current guild members and get to know the people.
-We are a hardcore guild, you are required to raid at least 75%+ of the raids on a regular basis.

Please send your application privately. Please make sure to include the following information:

* character name
* character class
* profile link (must accurately reflect your character including AA, magelo number, currently updated, etc) (Do you have epic 2.0+?)
* a short description of who you are (no personal details required) and why you want to be a member of Crimson Tempest
* your regular play times (make sure you know our raid times), post any days you "may" miss, up-coming vacations, etc. If you do happen to miss raids during your recruitment, tell an officer/me/or post it in the recruit forum.
* a history of your past servers and guilds and how long you've been playing and why did you leave your previous guild and/or are you changing guilds? (We do background checks..!!!)
* character/account ownership (are you the original owner?)
* What raiding experience do you have? Do you consider yourself a skilled, loyal, experienced raider/player?
* What are your goals in EQ? What are your long term plans? How many days, /played do you currently have?
* Does anyone else play your character outside raid time (family, friends, etc)?
* Do you have issues with constructive criticism?
* If your a DPS class (Melee/Caster), post what kinda of DPS you have done on raid events/bosses/etc in the past (provide parses if necessary)
* List the people you know from the Crimson Tempest Guild
* What Veteran AA's do you have? List if you have: Intensity of the Resolute and/or Staunch Recovery, etc etc.
* Don't forget to transfer your shared bank slots if you are a server transfer!
* If you have a poor internet connection or computer, please post about it. This can especially be a hinder on raid time. Try to have a decent computer and internet connection while you are computer gaming. It will make our lives and yours much easier, trust me.
* Make sure your ON-TIME, raids can be FULL most of the time, meaning you will be sitting out. If you do happen to be 1 to 2 hours late, you will be getting RA% NOT DKP for the entire day. Keep that in mind. This means being 1 minute or 2 minutes late etc, will not give you the on-time checkpoint. Good timekeeping is required here.
