Anyways let the Arcade fest begin...

Hi everyone, we been raiding away, gunning down, hacking and slashing, bashing and pounding our heads against the walls, and fingers on the keyboards, but guess what it worked! We finally defeated some of the hardest events in Norrath. It took a lot of teamwork, strategy and was loads of fun . Once we saw the bodies fall and the exalted victory cries echoed through guild chat, It was worth it. That being said, we are proud to present to you the Underfoot Midway arcade!

To follow up our update here is a nursery rhyme..

So Aakla was in aakla skittle patch one day cause aakla armor was getting dull and aakla needed pretty colors to make aakla armor bright again. then aakla saw headboss and him other friends in the guild show up. aakla was happy cause dem was gonna help aakla farm aakla skittle patch. But but dem started to kick aakla shrooms and break stuff. aakla was like "no no what is joo doing?" *sniffle* dem just started laughing and dem set aakla skittle patch on fire. aakla thought it couldnt get any worse, but den aakla friend Crawly the Beetle showed up for him daily cookie and milkbox. Headboss ran at Crawly and started to hack his legs off. aakla was like "no no him just wanted a cookie, hug him not lop him legs off." :( dem destroyed aakla skittle patch and smooshed aakla pal crawly. *wipes his eyes* him just wanted a cookie.

Anyways....

A Cunning Plan

First up Mephit Invaders aka Lichen Creep, where all you do is kill mephits. Is so easy a guild full of cavemen can do it. That is if cavemen had computers and knew about mephits and what their weakness was. Unfortunately we are not cavemen, instead we are all Ivy league educated scholars who play Everquest so we can tie into the "raid Matrix". To beat Mephit Invaders we played so well we felt like we were in "bullet time". After the win we switched to actual bullet time as we made a beeline to the treasure chest.

Once we fixed the fire button, this event fell within the night. We racked up a solid score of 75,860. Here is a picture of the event on level 6. I'm still not to sure what a mephit is, but they look a lot like Space Invaders aliens

Trial of Deconstruction

Next up, server-wide first Brells Temple 1, which is strikingly similar to pacman). That is if Pacman only had two levels and started superbad mode. We first started learning this raid months ago, were a lot of us wondering if this raid was ever going to be winnable. Suddenly, after a few changes to the raid and to our strategies, we saw that we COULD win after all. We knew we all needed to play perfectly together, so we all TRIED to synchronize our watchesJames Bond style, but only 2 guild members still had watches, and they were too busy eating jello while cleaning dentures to find the actual watch, so instead we synchronized I-phones. With all of us executing together, the raid was almost ballet like as we glided to and fro. Was no ballet Tutu's for the win though, but fantastic loots instead, which did disappoint one guild member who would have preferred the Tutu. Is always nice to have a server first, this raid victory was especially sweet because everyone had to be sharp and is a true total play together guild win.

It took $32.50 to pull out the server-wide first here. I'll explain the event run down for you. As you can see this is the 2nd maze. The 2nd player controls Ms. Pac-Man on the easier side where you turn in some random fruits and berries, and what ever other junk pops out of the box; don't worry if you can't figure it out, it's not like they are on the same lore group. Down on the Cliknar side if those power pellets actually did anything it would make this side about 0% easier because they apparently won't turn the Cliknars into delicious blue ghost Cliknars.

You just have to bring the beats. And of course starting the correct trial helps....

The Fungal Corruption

Everyone's favorite event so far this expansion is "The Fungal Corruption". You can tell by the number of quarters we have spent on learning how to beat this event. This is by far the buggiest event in Underfoot so far. Once you get down to it, there is one basic strategy on level 3. FIRE ZE MISSILES!

"at 25 cents a wipe, that makes $135.75"

Which of course is exactly what we did.
