After our long deserved holiday break we sought our victory over Arx event 4. The victory was a swift and decisive. Many gnomes were punted in the process.
Side Note: A big thank you to SOE for forgetting to add individual kill achievements for the various raid targets to make tracking first kills an utter and complete nightmare.
We quickly finished keying for event 5 and made short work of the Lords of the Alphabet. See if you can even pronounce any of these names other than our heroine Lanys, who's efforts were thwarted by our misguided alliance with Firona Vie and that one gnome Ognit.
Even though their names are the result of an angry German kid smashing the keyboard, the disgruntled forces of Lanys T'Vyl were no match for our cleric team who find faith in our beloved statue of fertility. (Objects in picture are smaller than they appear)
We were all prepped and ready but had forgotten one thing. The gnome punt. Check out our EQ version of "Where's Waldo". To illustrate how easy this expansion was, we went ahead and found all the punted gnomes for you ahead of time, so you don't have to look too hard.
Well after that wipe we learned to not AE the liches. The results speak for themselves. Hooray indeterminate amount of farm time to max out our gear until next expansion!
Crimson Tempest is more than just a top end guild. We have a great time playing the group content as well. So we wanted to share some of our thoughts about this expansion's group content as well. One night we had a group helping members catch up on group progression. Now we all know that TDS has been riddled with bugs and EQ has really bad pathing in
some all places. But I think this picture pretty much sums up the whole TDS lack of proper beta testing situation for this expansion:
